Sisters of Divine Providence 
Sr. Audrey, and the others Sisters at St Cecilia, were loving and yet strong in their directions and teachings. I will say a prayer for her and the others who helped to guide and channel my life on such a wonderful path. She would be proud that she taught a gal who became a Chemical Engineer, a mother and a lady who hopefully leads by the great example she inspired.

Sister Audrey was my Second grade teacher at St. Mary’s German in McKeesport, PA This was such an important year in our education. Sister Audrey prepared us for our First Confession and First Communion. She taught us to write cursive and how to tell time. She was a wonderful teacher, sometimes stern but always fair, and she provided us with a great education. Happily, I kept in touch with Sister Audrey over the years and was able to thank her many times for preparing us for life.
I will miss our talks. May she rest in peace.

Our family is blessed to have had such a beautiful role model. Sister Audrey inspired each of us with her gentle spirit, and we are certainly a more warm and caring group because of her influence. She brought such joy to our Mom when she’d visit for a weekend. They watched out for each other when they were together. I’ll forever remember them holding hands as they crossed a downtown street following a Pirates game.
May God bless Sister Audrey and all of her friends; may the entire congregation of the Sisters of Divine Providence feel God’s blessing every day. Sister Audrey was so loved and cared for by the Order. We cannot thank you enough for the blessing every person was to her. Rest in peace, Sister Audrey. Thank you for enriching and inspiring our lives. Your work on earth is done, and the fine job you did! We love you like crazy.

There were very few Sisters from the Tarentum area where I grew up, but until I read her obituary, I did not realize that Sr. Audrey was one of them. She was baptized in a church four blocks from my home in Tarnetum, a church where I filled in as organist while a high school student. But she went to school at St. Al;honsus in Springdale, and I to Sacred Heart in Tarentum. Sr. Audrey spent much of her life out of the Pittsburgh Diocese, and I did not know her well, but I am sure that she was there when Sacred Heart invited all the Sisters who had taught at Sacred Heart (now Holy Martyrs) for the Church’s 100th anniversary a few years ago. Sisters from the area were invited, and I suspect that she was there if she was in the Diocese at the time. When I read her obituary, I suddenly realized that our paths did cross, not personally perhaps, but because I had purchased so many of the beautiful baby shawls that I gave for baptism gifts to newborn great nieces and nephews. They were very special gifts, warmly received over the years.
Sister spent her life in service to others as teacher, principal, Eucharist Minister, and crocheter of lovely white blankets. I pray that she will continue to watch over the community and her family, who grieve at her loss. The photographs show a life fully lived. May she rest in peace.

God bless sister Audrey she was my teacher at St. Cecilia School Glassport Pa and also my principal. She was a close friend of our family. She attended my wedding. A great teacher and a wonderful inspiration. May the Angel’s come to greet you and take you to paradise. Maryann Capozzoli Jarusinski

Such a beautiful soul. I can only imagine the joy she is experiencing as she arrives at heaven’s gate in all of her glory. Thank you Sister Audrey for your devotion and service to our Lord. May God bless your family with peace and comfort.

I remember Sister Audrey as strict but also kind. She was my second grade teacher in 1986. She was very patient with me when she taught me to write in cursive, and she greeted me each recess with a hello and a warm smile. I’m grateful to have known her.

Lots of special words have described that petite but mighty woman of God—- joyful and penetrating blue eyes, spontaneous welcoming smile, kind and faithful follower of Christ. My first meeting with Sr Audrey was when i was introducing myself as a new staff member and learning something about her health needs. That topic was short lived as she was never focused on her issues. What she was excited about discussing was the many others she made happy with her crocheting. She shared her works of art, which were exquisite. and saleswoman that she was — I placed my orders! Audrey was a ” selective” eater. Scrambled eggs was her idea of a satifying meal and no sweets. Did not know of her competitve spirit until she participated in the SJC olympics and won a bronze medal! Her smile, her genuine graciousness, the wave she gave me while we have been in lockdown will forever put a smile on my face and bring sunshine on a rainy day. Thank you, dear Sr Audrey.

We have been So Blessed to have Sister Audrey for these many years. I am sure she is rejoicing with all her family and friends who have gone to The Lord before her. She will be severely missed by all but our fond memories will comfort us. We Love You, Sr. Audrey.

Sr. Audrey always had a listening heart, a gentle smile, and those kind blue eyes. The word faithful coms to mind immediately when I think of her. Prayers for all her family who will miss her as we will.

I recall Sr. Audrey and Sister Mary Dolores living in Guardian Angels Parish. It was my first ride, driving by myself, to visit them in 2004. Sr. Audrey was always smiling and spreading her good mood: She was an alive witness of the Tender of God provident…

Sister Audrey had such beautiful blue eyes and a kind smile. When students would come to volunteer in St Joseph Center from La Roche University, she was always gentle and engaging. Such a gift of Providence to those she met.
