Our reflection during these 40 days reminds us
“the Cross and the Resurrection are one thing. They are not subsequent to each other. The Resurrection is the inner light hidden at the heart of darkness in the Cross. On Easter morning, this light explodes onto the world.”

Assuredly, Love is stronger than hate. Hope is stronger than despair. Life is stronger than death. And nothing, nothing, is impossible with our Provident God. Happy Easter.

Nuestra reflexión durante estos 40 días nos recuerda que “la Cruz y la Resurrección son una misma realidad. No son posteriores entre sí. La Resurrección es la luz interior escondida en el corazón de las tinieblas en la Cruz. En la mañana de Pascua, esta luz estalla sobre el mundo”.

Am I able to trust that the tombs of my life are all gateways to resurrection?
It has been said that Easter is Christ going down into the tomb and pushing life out of the earth.
As an Easter person, be deliberate in your search for signs of new life and celebrate it as a sign of hope.

JESÚS ES PUESTO EN LA TUMBA
¿Soy capaz de confiar en que las tumbas de mi vida son todas puertas de entrada a la resurrección?
Se ha dicho que la Pascua es Cristo bajando al sepulcro y empujando la vida fuera de la tierra.
Como persona pascual, sé deliberado en tu búsqueda de signos de nueva vida y celébralo como un signo de esperanza.

JESÚS ES BAJADO DE LA CRUZ
¿Estoy preparado para dejar ir todo lo que siempre quise de forma tal que la voluntad de Dios pueda venir de otra forma a través de mí.?
Como persona pascual, siéntate solo con una taza de té y cultiva una sensación de libertad de la necesidad de saber algo sobre el mañana.

JESUS DIES ON THE CROSS

This station brings us face to face with the finality of total loss, emptiness, defeat. Paradoxically, it is at the same time a call to proclaim that death is not the final obliteration, but a passage to newness.
As an Easter person, find an object or moment that is like an empty nest. Reflect on that reality as an opening for new life.

JESÚS MUERE EN LA CRUZ
Esta estación nos pone cara a cara con la finalidad de la pérdida total, el vacío, la derrota. Paradójicamente, es al mismo tiempo un llamado a proclamar que la muerte no es la destrucción final, sino el paso a la novedad.
Como persona pascual, encuentra un objeto o momento que sea como un nido vacío. Reflexiona sobre esa realidad como una apertura para una nueva vida.

This station calls us to identify our forever commitments, those from which there is no return. In our fidelity to these commitments, we are compelled to trust in the presence of a Provident God in pain and in darkness.

Esta estación nos llama a identificar nuestros compromisos perpetuos, aquellos de los que no hay retorno. En nuestra fidelidad a estos compromisos, estamos obligados a confiar en la presencia de un Dios Providente en el dolor y en la oscuridad.
Como persona pascual, reflexiona sobre tus compromisos de vida, a pesar de las dificultades, deléitate con la dulzura.

In this station we’re faced with the realities and pain of the total loss, the total unmasking of self. Some of us spend a lifetime in creating a public persona, only to have life’s circumstances strip us of it. When that happens it is a call to the stark truth of humility.
There is a kind of freedom that comes with the unmasking of self.
Before whom are you willing to be totally vulnerable?
As an Easter person, what masks bring you liberation and new life?

JESÚS ES DESPOJADO DE SUS VESTIDURAS
En esta estación nos enfrentamos a las realidades y el dolor de la pérdida total, de la revelación total del yo. Algunos de nosotros pasamos toda la vida creando una imagen pública, solo para que las circunstancias de la vida nos despojen de ella. Cuando eso sucede, es un llamado a la cruda verdad de la humildad.
Hay una especie de libertad que viene con el desenmascaramiento del yo.
¿Ante quién estás dispuesto a ser totalmente vulnerable?
