JESUS MEETS THE WEEPING WOMEN OF JERUSALEM

In this station we meet a company of women. They are reminiscent of women in all ages and times who bear the grief of loss, witnesses to humanity’s violence to our own.
Their tears are the soothing balm that nourishes and sustains the possibility of new life.
What causes your heart to break open, for whom and for what evils do you weep?
As an Easter person. make a connection with those who form your circle of support.

JESÚS SE ENCUENTRA CON LAS MUJERES PIADOSAS DE JERUSALÉN
En esta estación nos encontramos con una compañía de mujeres. Son una reminiscencia de las mujeres de todas las épocas que soportan el dolor de la pérdida, testigos de la violencia de la humanidad hacia las mujeres.
Sus lágrimas son el bálsamo calmante que nutre y sostiene la posibilidad de una nueva vida.
¿Qué hace que tu corazón se rompa, por quién y por qué males lloras?
Como una persona pascual, crea vínculos con aquellos que forman tu círculo de apoyo.

Sisters of Divine Providence 
Praying with this station, we couldn’t help but think of the people of Ukraine who are weeping and their children who will be forever marked by the violence of war. We also think of African Americans who are weeping as racism scars them for generations.
